An Air India flight from Bhopal to Mumbai, carrying 90 passengers on board, had to make an emergency landing minutes after its take-off from Raja Bhoj Airport in Bhopal on Wednesday morning after a bird hit one of its engines, officials said.
Aircraft pilot-in-command Captain Achint Bhardwaj spoke exclusively to ANI after landing at Delhi Airport and said that all air traffic controls, including that of Pakistan, extended support during the evacuation mission.
The flight was diverted to the Jamnagar airport following a bomb threat and made a safe emergency landing there at 9.49 pm on Monday, officials had said.
